NOTE: Actors do not need to memorize these poems.  If the like the “Jabberwockey” they should pick a section of the poem to read, not the entire poem.  The director is looking for a grasp of the language and storytelling.  Actors should be comfortable with their selected piece and not doing a cold read at the audition.
