- Audition Expectations Musical (Little Mermaid)
- Prepare 16-32 bars of music in the style of the show

Regarding the singing portion of the auditions:
- No songs from the movie versions or stage version of The Little Mermaid will be accepted.
- No a capella auditions will be accepted. Every person must come with a backing/karaoke track (with no vocals) or the piano accompaniment music in the correct key.
- No rap auditions will be accepted. Every person must come prepared with a song to show their vocal range/ability.
- Wear appropriate attire for movement.

- All in-person auditioners need to prepare and record a video performing the provided choreography. The video should show the auditioner performing in full length. In the video, please introduce yourself with your name and age. Auditioners should wear attire appropriate for movement. A leotard with skin color tights and biker shorts— if they have them and are comfortable wearing, are strongly encouraged (form-fitting clothes help to see the dancer’s full movement). All dance audition videos need to be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at executiveproducer@childrenstheatreofannapolis.org regardless of date of in-person audition.
